September 1st ‒ 13th: Lodewijk Lefevre, master student, visited Environmental Physics Laboratory on for doing experimental and research part of his Master thesis. The stay was realized as a part of the Erasmus student exchange between biomonitoring research group (Dr Mira Aničić Urošević, Dr Gordana Vuković, MSc Tijana Milićević) and the Laboratory of Environmental and Urban Ecology of the Department of Bioscience Engineering University of Antwerp, Belgium (Prof. dr. ir. Roeland Samson)
Luka Ilić participated in the first workshop for intensive training in ACTRIS-EARLINET quality assurance programme. The hands-on training was organized at the LiCalTrain facility in Bucharest, in the period 23-27 May 2016.

June 24, 2016: Isidora Deljanin defended Doctoral Dissertation titled: "Trace element monitoring in the environment using selected plant species". The committee members were dr Milica Tomašević and dr Mira Aničić Urošević. The part of this thesis is realized in collaboration with Environmental Physics Laboratory.
April 1, 2016: Dr Gordana Vuković, as awarded of the first prize for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of environmental protection, gave a presentation at the "III Memorijalni naučni skup iz zaštite životne sredine „docent dr Milena Dalmacija“.
